spaces, see their creations and discover their inspiration. Many artists will demonstrate their creative techniques. There are 31
participating artists in 22 studios located across Bellingham and Whatcom County.
Due to the pandemic, the Covid protocols according to
state mandate are in place, requiring masks in interior studios. Some artists with outdoor galleries may also require masking.
For 27 years, Whatcom artists have opened the doors of their studio to share their creative vision and energy with visitors for the first two
October weekends. This is the perfect time to buy works of art and crafts at their source.
Chairman of the Board Chris Moench said: “The past year and more has been a time of great uncertainty and loss for many people. Yet for our
community of artists, it was also an opportunity to dive deeply into our work in search of comfort, inspiration and renewal. This year’s tour is
the first opportunity in a long time to share our efforts with the public. We hope the Studio Tour will spark a revolution in positive creativity
among our visitors! “
We produced a printed brochure with a map and listings of each artist’s studio, their medium and their locations. In addition, it shows which
artists do demonstrations and wheelchair accessible studios. Free maps will be available in the artist’s workshops, local
shops around the area.
In addition to the printed version of the map, our website offers a live map with locations and artist descriptions. Visit www.studiotour.net
